Stromberg-Carlson Television, 1954. It has a pagoda-style wood cabinet with with carved doors. Below the television is a drawer that contains a phonograph.
This television belonged to Mildred Creager of Chillicothe, Ohio, who purchased it - most likely in a local store - in 1954. It was one of her prized posessions until her death in 2006, though it hadn’t worked in years. When it was donated to the museum, the cords, instruction manuals, and even the little record adapters were present.
